I literally never post my privately commissioned work, so this portrait I did for the awesome and eccentric, Sylvie & Mark from Montreal, Canada—is the first time the contract was structured to share with you all—ever. After they had done a photoshoot with aaroncodling.com, they came to me with a mountain of reference material and asked for me to imagine them standing at the top of their kingdom together. It was a refreshing endeavor into the classical and fantastical when many of the private commissions I do are more “vanilla”.
