The Angel by Giulio Monteverde, Giulio Monteverde and family grave, Verano Monumental Cemetery, Rome, Italy (L’Angelo di Giulio Monteverde, tomba di Giulio Monteverde e famiglia, Cimitero Monumentale del Verano, Roma, Italia)
The story: Giulio Monteverde carved the original one for the Oneto tomb in the Staglieno Cemetery in Geneve, Italy. Then he carved this copy for his tomb in Rome. It is one of the most popular grave sculptures and there are many copies around the world. Irene is back!
